Flushed for Spring! Sleek Blush by 3

Sleek MakeUP have released these blush palettes recently and whilst I do use their eyeshadow palettes, I've never been drawn to their other products - just snobbery on my part but this palette in particular converted me.

This is the 'Lace' palette retailing at £9.99 and available at Superdrug - there are numerous different shade ranges including a berry toned ('Pink Spirit'), a red toned ('Flame'), a bright orange and pink toned ('Pumpkin').

I chose Lace which I think is the most wearable on an NC25-NC35 skintone daily as the colours aren't as deep and 'primary colours' style as the other palettes but still highly pigmented.

The packaging is lovely, a really slimline black case which a huge mirror and is jam packed with 20g of product - for £9.99 that's an absolute STEAL! No brush though, but who uses the brushes that come with products anyway?

The palette boasts 'intensely pigmented matte and shimmer blushers' and can be layered to achieve the required intensity.

Left to right - 'Crochet', 'Guipure', 'Chantilly'

The shade on the far left is a matte light orange coral, the middle shade is a rose gold shimmer and the far right shade is a matte pink toned coral.
Top to Bottom - ' Chantilly, Guipure, Crochet'
I would say use a light hand when applying these products, as they don't mess about when they say they are pigmented. The colour pay off is excellent and unlike other cheap shadows and blushers, Sleek never gives a chalky or powdery look.

I often use 'Crochet' for a tanned peachy look by itself or with bronzing powder to contour, and on the eyes brown top liner and mascara. This is a great Spring/Summer look and keeps the skin looking radiant and not overdone.

Another way is to layer 'Guipure' over MAC's 'Dollymix' - on the very tops of the cheekbones as a highlighter (I use this as a highlight under the brown bone as well)
Using this with your fingers is the best way to achieve a light application.

My favourite shade is 'Chantilly' - the pinky coral is the perfect in-between of a pink and red and no other Sleek palette in this range is as well matched as these three shades in Lace.
