Have you been to East Street? Situated snugly in Rathbone Place, just off Tottenham Court Road is this quirky restaurant, serving up authentic bowls of pan Asian cooking in front of your very eyes.
Its decór delivers the right balance between comfort and 'street', with a bit of tongue in cheek humour. This edgy look is right on trend and staff are friendly and welcoming as well as knowledgeable of the menu, a must as there is so much to try!

This place sure does get the 'Ricecakes' recommendation: really yummy, hot, flavoursome food combined with the quirky cutlery, unique table sauces and overall atmosphere makes this a place I'd like to revisit. Same price league as Wagamamas but tastier, in my opinion. Although portions are not as huge it was filling and left good room for dessert...
Not from East Street mind,...hot chocolate fudge cake is too good to turn down! |
East Street: www.eaststreetrestaurant.com. They also do take-out and a large proportion of their dishes are halal ~ ask the waiters who are more than happy to assist!
